Giovanni Tedesco, a former footballer with over 500 appearances in the Italian Serie A with Fiorentina, Salernitana, Perugia and Palermo, is the new coach of Al Bataeh, a team in the Serie B championship of the United Arab Emirates.

The agreement was completed thanks to FIFA agent Morris Pagniello, owner of the agency Anthem Sports Management as well as Racing Murcia, Racing Capri and Racing Sacramento, which are all clubs under the Racing City Group.

Pagniello, after sharing some experiences in the Genova International School of Soccer academy with Tedesco, accompanied the ex Palermo coach in this new adventure, making him the second coach represented by Anthem International that lands in the United Arab Emirates. Before him, Walter Pandiani, former Deportivo La Coruña star, was coach and director of the youth academy of Dibba Al-Hisn.

Giovanni Tedesco, after his amazing career as a footballer, as he won UEFA Intertoto Cup with Perugia, he followed the career of coaching, finding his first opportunity in Serie C with Foligno, and later in the Maltese top division.Finally he was appointed as the main coach of the Italian side in Serie A Palermo FC.

Tedesco stated that he is very pleased for being here and he is really looking forward to start his new experience. Tedesco was officially presented yesterday evening and from today, he will be in charge as the head coach of Al Bataeh
